WITF Music

Le Ghast‘s Steph Werner (lead vocals, guitar), Jordan Zabady (beatboxing, percussion), and Michael Stipe (bass, vocals) stopped by the WITF Music studio to perform two original songs and chat about their music. After Werner met Zabady at an open mic night, the two joined forces to create a unique, spacey sound. They later brought Stipe into the fold to round out the band’s lineup.

Werner discusses revisiting some of her older writing and adapting it for the band, which originally performed covers. The group’s new music is inspired by the levels of Dante’s Inferno, a story that has stayed with Werner since reading it in school.
