Not only do some employers not see the benefit of offering a 401k, but many workers do not see the significance of investing in one.
Instead, they’re relying solely on the Social Security that they are due from the taxes that they have been paying over the years.
And sadly, this thinking is exactly why many people today end up working until their dying day or end up living their last days according to the terms and conditions set forth by the government. I feel this is due to the lack of understanding of what the 401k is.
