Day three of our reading of the love chapter in version 3

Through nature and revelation, through his Providence and by the influence of his spirit, God speaks to us.

When we behold Jesus everything we look upon reflects his image the son of righteousness. We cannot see or talk or think of anything else.

When the mind of man is brought into communion with the mind of god, the finite with the infinite, the effect on body, and mind, and soul, is beyond estimate.

There are a few who rightly appreciate or improve the precious privilege of prayer. We should go to Jesus and tell him all our needs.

Whoever under the reproof of God will humble the soul with confession and repentance, as did david, maybe sure that there is hope for him.

There is an eloquence far more powerful than the eloquence of words in a quiet, consistent life of a pure, true christian.

The heart and which love rules, will not be filled with passion or revenge, by injuries which pride and self love would deem unbearable.

We are to forget ourselves and try to help others. We are to talk of the love of christ, tell of his goodness, and do every duty that presents itself.
