In today's episode we continue with part 2 of a series titled "A Woman After God's Heart" and today I share more about Mary and Martha. The world we live in often causes us to be a "Martha"; busy, trying to please people and God, and in a constant state of proving but we should strive to be like Mary who was still and sat at the feet of Jesus. Being still isn't easy and embracing the season of life that you are in while hoping to get the next isn't easy but if we don't we can miss what God is doing right now in our lives.

In today's episode, I kick off a series titled "A Woman After God's Heart"! We live in a world that tries to put women in a box and creates a prescriptive set of "rules" that women should follow to be a "holy girl", "soft girl" and embrace their sexuality in a perverted way. To me to be a woman of God or to be a woman after God's heart we need to embrace all that God has created us to be in terms of our personality, character, and passions and it may not fit into the box or trends that are currently being pushed out in society. This is only part one so stay tuned for next week's episode.
