At the time of writing, many across the UK are scrambling to find turkeys during a pre-Christmas shortage. In Japan, no such concerns as the festive tradition there involves millions eating Kentucky Fried Chicken on the big day. It's a sign of how embedded in global culture KFC has become, while back in the UK the company's progressive approach to communications has provided a template for how to deal with whatever challenges it comes up against. Paula MacKenzie is General Manager of KFC in the UK and Ireland, and talked to The Freudcast about her route to the top.
