This episode I did something I haven't done before. I reached out to a listener who follows our instagram page to be a guest. I had no idea of her job, her background or where she was living. I wanted to find out what was happening around the world and how others were dealing with COVID life.
Rikhia Basu lives in Doha, Qatar. She explains the rules and regulations they are living with during COVID. As it turns out, she is a flight attendant, so she explains how COVID has changed her job. Rikhia shares a family recipe with us that Mishel and Troy will attempt. Follow our YOUTUBE, Instagram or facebook page to have a giggle.

COVID-19 has shut down the travel industry. For a while the thought of travel made me sad and I wasn't able to talk about it. I wanted to know how people around the world were handling the shut down. I invited a very dear friend of mine, Heather Reed who lives in Chicago in the United States to join me.
We talk about the differences between how Australia and United States have dealt with the virus. The rules and regulations each Country has and how personally Heather is dealing with the isolation. We discuss the health care system in both Countries in detail. I also ask Heather for a recipe of something she has been cooking during her time in isolation.

I know I am need of a happy story right now.
Devin Sturdy joins me to explain the story behind the Who is Happy Guy quest from 2007/2008.
A photo of someone who looked so very happy was found in a bin. Nate, Devin's brother took this photo and put it on their fridge and named him Happy Guy. This photo then became a reminder of happiness. Years later they decided to try and find Happy Guy. Listen to find out what happened.
Take a photo of yourself with a big cheesy grin and # it with #withyoueverystephappyguy or #withyoueverystephappygal Let's make others feel the way Nate and Devin felt every time they looked at that photo.
To see the original photo of Happy Guy go to our Instagram page.

This episode I visit the Hunter Valley Wine region. If you are a wine lover like I am, then this episode is for you.
The Hunter Valley wine region is about 120km (75mi) North of Sydney, NSW, Australia. It is the oldest wine region in Australia with around 150 Cellar doors to visit. Knowing this I had no idea where to start or which ones to visit. We had one day in the area and we wanted to visit as many as possible without the stress of driving.
I found the iHop Hunter Valley hop on and hop off bus tour. WOW, what a fabulous way to visit the Hunter. I go into detail about how the booking process works, what the tour entails and which cellar doors we visited. I rate every Cellar door and talk about some of the amazing information I received from some very knowledgeable staff. I highly recommend visiting this beautiful part of Australia.
