Jason and Tyler recap the Dodgers sweeping the Angels, Fernando Tatis breaking one of baseball's ridiculous unwritten rules, the Cincinnati commentator that rightfully will lose his job and whether or not Derek Jeter has become underrated. 

We kick off today's show with the usual baseball talk and update on how our teams are performing. Tyler is having false confidence yet again in the Angels and not much has changed for Jason and the Dodgers. However, what has changed is the fact that the LA Chargers are featured on Hard Knocks for the first time, so the guys talk about that. Finally, the guys welcome back the first recurring guest in Within the Lines Sports history, Brandon Viera, to preview the upcoming UFC 252 pay-per-view this Saturday, headlined by Daniel Cormier vs. Stipe Miocic. 

On today's show, we continue our weekly recap of the last week of action in Major League Baseball, including a very sad question for Tyler: Will Shohei Ohtani ever pitch again? We also briefly touch on the NBA bubble and just how bad the Los Angeles Lakers have looked thus far. 

Today we recap the first week of the season, which seemed to be as eventful as a first week can be. We talk Joe Kelly's suspension for throwing at Astros' hitters, Shohei Ohtani's five-run, zero-out return outing and the Miami Marlins' COVID-19 outbreak. Also, the return of America's favorite segment is BACK. Trivia Time with Tyler returns with a massive MLB Week 1 quiz. 

There is HUGE sports news for us to discuss today as the Los Angeles Dodgers agreed to terms on a massive 12-year contract extension with former American League MVP Mookie Betts right in time for the start of baseball. Will the Dodgers win 50 games? Will Shohei Ohtani win the American League MVP? Is Tyler serious that he would take Anthony Rendon over Mookie Betts? Today, we bring you the second iteration of our MLB over/under picks, except this time we are dealing with a 60-game season, not a 162-game season. We each pick 10 over/unders and whoever has the worst record at the end of the year is going to have to do something terrible (stay tuned). We start the show by recapping UFC 251 on Fight Island, which might have been just as disappointing as the entire "Fight Island" to begin with.
