Joseph really went through things that would make anyone bitter and carry a grudge, but God helped him to forget and to be forgiving. It takes a while and many of us being turned over to the tormentors before we learn to be forgiving and forget what has been done to us, and that all things work together for good to those who love the Lord and He has chosen.
