Hello friends,
In his book, Mere Christianity, CS Lewis writes “Enemy-occupied territory--that is what this world is. Christianity is the story of how the rightful king has landed, you might say landed in disguise, and is calling us to take part in a great campaign of sabotage.”
As Christians who are awake, we see so many demonic divots in the dirt of so many enemy-occupied lands and a few recent examples in particular, have taken my breath away. So much so, that they could only have come from the enemy’s pit. It’s an extremely heavy topic, but it’s been weighing on my heart even more so than usual. I speak of those who actually celebrate the murder of children. We’ll cover a couple of items that we desperately need to pray for and if possible, take action on in today’s Withstand Daily Podcast.

G'day fellow Withstanders,
The Bible tells us in the Gospel of Luke, Chapter 12, Verse 3 that “Therefore whatever you have spoken in the dark will be heard in the light, and what you have spoken in the ear in the inner rooms will be proclaimed on the rooftops.”
For those of us who are awake, we’ve been well aware for some time now that the ‘powers that be’ have shone a light on things they want us to see and hear, while supressing those things they don’t wish us to see and hear. But is it just me, or does it seem as if we’ve experienced this on steroids lately?
We’ll take a look at some of the news items that may have escaped our attention, thanks to selective reporting and take a look at what the UK is doing to stifle free speech and more on today’s Withstand Daily Podcast.

Over the past 18 months alone, it seems that the revolving door of leaders coming and going across the globe has spun with so much force and speed that it could power the entire east coast of Australia for the next 18 months. Who needs wind-powered turbines that are ugly, inefficient and future landfill when a spinning revolving door will do just fine? That’s a terrible analogy, I’m sorry, but hopefully you’re picking up what I’m putting down here…

G'day fellow Withstanders,
At the risk of playing into the mainstream media's rhetoric right now, it really does feel like many of our economic and civil institutions are collapsing before our eyes; or at the very least, are on their knees. While we’re being urged to ‘buckle up’ and hold on tight, I’m reminded that the wonderful Dr Charles Stanley once declared that “we stand tallest and strongest on our knees”. We’ll look at what Dr Stanley meant by this in light of all that seems to be falling apart, but for us believers, is actually falling into place.

Hello fellow Withstanders!
Are you finding that you need to remind yourself to unclench and exhale as you scroll through the news lately? Me too. Whilst I continue to lurch from one headshake-inducing headline to another, and rail against the extreme left’s agenda as we march towards The Great Tribulation here on earth (I mean, how else did I think these last days were going to play out?!!) I was reminded by a Charles Stanley sermon from the vault earlier this morning, that we are to stand firm upon the foundation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, which is the Gospel of Peace. For those of us who have accepted Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Saviour, we have been saved by the grace of God, which is a gift that we do not deserve.
Which is why I need to check myself from time to time when the temptation to remove the speck from my brother’s eye creeps in. And that applies to people in my social circle, the media, our leaders, the list goes on. We’ll cover this and more on this pocket-sized podcast.
