Join us as Pastor Samuel delivers the message entitled, "2 Corinthians 6: Temple of the Living God."

LORD Jesus used Paul to point out some important factors in the new Christian life. Everything old must be replaced by all things new because there is not relationship between the things of God and the things of Satan. Therefore, Christians are to avoid having fellowship with people who are not Christ’s and not to adapt to their sinful lifestyles.

  • WOC081: Sunday Service 06/19/16
Join us as Pastor Samuel delivers the message entitled, "Father’s Day 2016."

Holy Spirit will use two different sons of Christ our LORD to show the significance of Father’s Day to us. Deacon Clinton Smith will share passages of Scripture from Deuteronomy 6:1-9 and Matthew 3:13-17. He will provide a brief commentary on both sets of passages to show us that in Deuteronomy 6:1-9, God wants fathers to instruct their children on loving Him and talking about Him. In the Matthew 3:13-17, LORD Jesus demonstrates to His future children, the Church, on how to live their life by following His example of baptism. Deacon Emilio will give a commentary on Genesis 1:1 and God has given us His DNA, therefore, we belong to Him and LORD Jesus.

Join us as Pastor Samuel delivers the message entitled, "2 Corinthians 5: Part II - Living By Faith."
LORD Jesus used Paul in a mighty way to show the Corinthians a look into what happens when He, LORD Jesus, saves a person. Holy Spirit is beyond measure in making everything new in the new believer’s life. He does not transform the old, but rather make all things new. Therefore, every believer is to live by faith in the LORD Jesus Christ.

  • WOC084: Bible Study 06/28/16
Join us as Pastor Samuel delivers the message entitled, "2 Corinthians 7: Temple of the Living God."

Paul had just warned the Corinthians about coming out of idol worship and about bringing pagan practices into the church. In chapter 6:11-18, the apostle draws a very good picture of what Christ looks like by drawing on Old Testament images and the Law. He further described the holiness of God that is found only in King Jesus, the spotless Lamb of God. In keeping with the commandments of God, there are eternal rewards he label as promises in the opening of chapter Seven. The apostle final warning comes in a strong statement of separation. Believers in the LORD Jesus Christ must separate themselves from those who remain unclean (those who continue to worship idols) before God. The intent of the apostle’s warning does not warrant the moving out of communities and leaving jobs where unbelievers are on a daily basis. His warning is for believers not to have fellowship with those who are unclean and refuse to listen to the Gospel of Jesus Christ which leads to godly repentance, which leads to eternal life.
