This week’s recap of Flavor of Love Episode 3 is chaotic but that feels all too fitting for the week that we all just had to deal with. We go off topic a few times (SHOCKER: WE DISCUSS WAITRESSING/WAITER NIGHTMARES AGAIN) and somehow JLo ? We are interrupted halfway through via my recording device trying to charge me more money for time. It’s messy. All jokes aside I hope everyone is as happy and healthy as possible and that Broc Jenny and I are able to bring you just an hour or so of laughter during these crazy times. Happy New Year! I am joined with my hilarious fantastic co-hosts this week as we recap episode 2 of the ICONIC season 2 of our beloved reality show 'Flavor of Love'. We recorded this on New Year's Eve 2020 and it was posted today January 1st 2021, so oddly enough it is both the last podcast of last year and the first podcast of this year. To be honest anytime I have Broc and Jenny on we get silly together and "spill the tea" usually I edit those parts out but this episode it all just made me giggle too much to cut any of it out. What I'm saying is WE GOT A LITTLE MESSY and I kept it ALL in! SAY IT ALL!!! I hope everyone had a happy, healthy, responsible and safe New Years Eve! Enjoy the episode!

On our way we also deep dive into various other reality tv shows from the early aughts and each of our times spent on a game show. Trust me you do not want to miss this episode.

There are highs and lows and a lot of questions, we get to the bottom of it all with a lot of laughs in between. 

But that being said reality tv in the early aughts was insanely problematic

We swap stories of each of our many years spent waiting tables; we've spilled drinks and now were spilling the tea. Everything from crying in the walk in to co-worker hookups to celebrity tables. After realizing there was a shared bond between us over indulging in sad music I got to team up with a friend a super podcaster Ryan Bailey to discuss our "indulgent sad playlists" in what hopefully is the first of a mini series, because SHOCKINGLY things somehow go off the rails. We talk about all sorts of things from The Counting Crows to The Click to first heartbreaks. Ryan is not only the first person to really champion me starting my own podcast (blessing and a curse!) but also the first guest to get me to name names. Joined by Matt Doss of The M.e.a.t Limit Podcast fame for this episode we rewatch and recap what I consider one of the most underrated comedies of the early 2000's "Get Over It" based on A Midsummer Nights Dream. This is a theatre kids dream, I cannot recommend rewatching this movie enough. From Vitamin C to Sisqo to "The Swing Town Lads" you will be blessed with musical act after musical act. They pretty much invent physical comedy, and some jokes don't age so well... This truly was one of my favorite movies growing up and it was so fun to get to revisit it! Thanks Matt!
