This is the first show of the year for Intimate Realness with Meka Rae and Renair. Do you have New Year’s Resolutions? If so, what are they? What do you plan to do differently this year to make your relationships or dating dreams and goals come true? Do you need some motivation on finally working on your goals and plans? This year I am so honored and humbled to be a judge for the OUT Music Awards also known as "The OMA's". Today's guest is Diedre Meridith, the Chairwoman of the LGBT Academy of Recording Arts and she is also the Executive Producer of the Out Music Awards. This year is the 9th Anniversary of the award celebration. This is an opportunity to celebrate LGBT musicians, such as our very own Monifah Carter who will be receiving the Vanguard Award, as well as other artists in our community. Hi Bedroom Playmates

Well it’s a New Year and we want to start it off “clean and fresh.” Ladies…we are talking about cleaning and flavoring the “vajayjay.” Listen…when a man or woman performs oral sex on you or you perform oral sex on a woman...the cooch much be clean, smell, and taste fresh! We want to help you and/or your lover stay coochie fresh all year long. Let’s talk about how the smell, the taste, the feel, and look of the cooch should be. We will talk about how to clean it, how to make it more flavorable, recognizing and keeping clear of infections, as well as how to shave it and keep it smooth. We talking clean kitty!

2014 was not a year very different from any other year, except that it is my firm belief that we as a community have had enough. When I speak of community, I'm speaking about the entire country, black, white, latino, gay, straight, it's enough. This hatred, senseless deaths, unlawful incarcerations, it all must stop. Each of us are leaders, where are you, as a leader, leading us to?  Now, I'm not the most articulate person, and so, I've invited my sister in spirit Terez Mychelle, to co-host this segment of Brunch In The Basement With JaVonne to talk about where we might go from here. 2015 - Moving Forward  Please join us as we discuss next steps!

So, I wanted to celebrate all of the artists and other wonderful people who have come on the show, but was not able to get through them all on Saturday.
