It was a Fisher Cats/Baseball Thursday on the program as we had ‘Cats broadcaster Chris Jared with us to discuss all the roster changes the FisherCats have had to make following some transactions by their parent club, the Toronto Blue Jays. WKXL’s Ray Dudley joined us in studio to talk about the remarkable turnaround for the Boston Red Sox who have currently won 30 of their last 35 games.

We continue our mini series: “Shows That Got Us Into The Theater” and present to you overtures from the Broadway Musicals of the 70’s! Just picture the overtures from these shows:  “JC Superstar”, “Follies”, “The Wiz”, “Chicago” and “Grease” to name few. Big shows, big overtures and, man, did they get us in the theaters!!

Wednesday’s show featured three outstanding local musicians, Jarrod Willams, Eddie Raczka and Dr. Harp (Dennis Martin). All will be part of the 12th Annual Blues Festival on Saturday, August 22 from noon-4 at Londonderry Common to benefit the Hooksett American Legion Riders.

It was a Sports Monday on the program with correspondent John Leahy discussing the amazing, unprecedented mid-season turn around for the Boston Red Sox. We also debated if the Sox would make a deal prior to this evening’s 6 PM Major League Baseball trading deadline.
