It’s time for a Jean’s Playhouse “Misery” recap! Having just finished two very successful weekends performing “Misery” I thought I would grab Alex Picard (Annie Wilkes) and Adam Kee (Paul Sheldon) for some quick thoughts on the production. In their opinions which scenes were the most difficult for each of them? What was their character development process like? Did you find the show successful? What happens next for each of them? And of course, sooooo much more!!
A roundtable political discussion on Wednesday's program featuring State Senator Howard Pearl from District 17, State Senator Tim Lang from District 2 live from Las Vegas and State Representative Michael Moffett from Merrimack County 4. All three are up for re-election. Our topics ran from issues of local concern like education and taxes as well as what's happening on the Presidential campaign trail.
Jane brings the highlights of upcoming events on today's Artful Living. She will also play highlights featuring guests that will become hosts to new upcoming programs coming to WKXL in Sept., so stay tuned!

Today’s guest was my new friend Adam Kee. Adam is an Equity actor currently co-starring, along with Alex Picard (a previous guest on the show), in “Misery” at the North Country Center for the Arts at Jean’s Playhouse in Lincoln. We sit down and talk about the production, his journey from novice to union actor, his methods/tips for performing, and some plain ole’ jawboning between to friends. Excellent time!
It's Friday, which means the Friday Fun Bunch is in the WKXL Studios! Ken Cail interviews Tom Raffio, President & CEO of Northeast Delta Dental and Kitty Rae the OFFICIAL “Flick Chick."
Thursday's show highlighted the 44 years of The Friendly Kitchen in Concord. Since 1980 it has served daily meals to individuals who are homeless and otherwise food insufficient. In the second portion of the show we talked with Mike Dunbar, Director of Content the Citizens Count and www.citizenscount.org It's a very valuable website to have as our important September 10th Primary approaches.
This week on Facing the Future, we'll look at healthcare spending in the United States and the initial round of negotiations on Medicare prescription drug prices.
