  • The Sports Machine w/ Slim | A Challenge to Caitlin Clark and the Iowa Hawkeyes!
The Sports Machine with Slim was rooting like crazy for the Iowa Hawkeyes to win it all. Unfortunately, they came up just short in a very exciting championship game. So where do the Iowa Hawkeyes go from here? Caitlin Clark is going to play in the WNBA and will make millions on the advertising circuit. But what about the rest of her teammates? Will there be a pot of gold at the end of their rainbows? I don't think so........unless...... On behalf of my teammates from the men's over 40 basketball league in Hampstead, NH - I challenge the Iowa Hawkeyes to a game of basketball! Men vs Women. Old vs Young. Let's see how the women's team from Iowa does against some basketball lifers from New Hampshire. The PAY PER VIEW bank from something like this will be huge! And I propose that the Iowa team gets 90% of the total gate. Use the platform that Iowa has right now to capitalize and make everyone some money! Unless you are afraid....

  • NH Unscripted with Karielle Silk
Karielle Silk called into WKXL and spoke with NH Unscripted about a project she and some friends are working on. It’s a music album. What’s it like to create a music album? What if it’s not just a music album, but, a Christian music album? Do the songs have to have a meaning and/or a purpose greater than just be entertaining? If so, why and what would that be? What’s the process to create the songs? Who’s involved in producing and marketing it? Also, the group is going to take it on tour in NH at a minimum. And did she say they’re going to give the album away for free?

  • The Sports Machine w/ Slim | The Wolfpack Edition
Something special is happening with NC State hoops. The men's team and the women's teams both are in the Final Four. If both teams happen to win their tournaments, it would make me want to immediately transfer to NC State if I was a college aged person. There has got to be something in the water at that school. Guess what? The NC State Men's team most certainly can win this tournament. On today's show, The Sports Machine with Slim breaks down the matchup with Purdue. "We can definitely beat Purdue," Slim confidently predicts. There are matchups in NC State's favor, and the Ramadan story of Mo Diarra is just an incredibly nice story to tell on the radio. That's what we talk about today on New Hampshire's next generation sports talk radio show. And PS - We also mix in a little Bruins while we are at it. (This team is so good).
