College basketball kicks into ultra high gear this week as the conference tournaments start up. Yes, we talk about the Boston Celtics and their win over Portland last night. We also talk with former NHL pro Thomas Poeck about the Bruins loss to St Louis. But the most exciting part of The Sports Machine with Slim today is the conference tournament talk. My Brother Dave has been spot on with most of his predictions during the past couple of months. • The Sports Machine w / Slim Goes BIGTIME!!!
It really is only a matter of time until this show gets huge. If you are reading this now, you are in on a golden nugget earlier than most everyone else. Congratulations! Today we do a couple of firsts on The Sports Machine with Slim: We have our very first female caller on the show - Happy International Women's Day out there! We also do the show on Facebook Live for the first time. Slim is a bit old and slow with the uptake when it comes to social media, but he is trying to forge a new path and he is getting a lot of help along the way. Please keep the suggestions coming!
On today's show we talk, yet again, about how Jayson Tatum comes up short in clutch situations. But we still stay positive. When he eventually hits paydirt, he will continue doing so for years and years for the Boston Celtics. The Bruins game last night was awesome. This team is so so much fun to root for and your life will most definitely be improved if you start tuning in every weekday at 10am to The Sports Machine with Slim to hear our Boston Bruins commentary. We are top notch!
