The Sports Machine with Slim has made a decision! The Bruins need to be rolling with two #1 goalies for the rest of the season. The chemistry that Ullmark and Swayman have shown is real......and it has an impact both on and off the ice. If the B's want to win this year, they need to keep the two goalies together. The Celtics play the San Antonio Spurs tonight and will move to 20-0 at home with the victory. We preview tonight's game and talk about the upcoming Friday matchup against Denver. The Sports Machine with Slim has been telling our listeners for weeks: The Boston Celtics are going to win it all in the NBA and the San Francisco 49ers will be your champions in the NFL. During yesterday's show, we told everyone that Buffalo would beat Pittsburgh (which they did) and Slim correctly diagnosed the Tampa Bay/Philly game with Tampa Bay easily taking out the Eagles in a surprisingly uncompetitive contest. We bring the hot takes on The Sports Machine with Slim. Our callers are the best in the country and you can be one of them. 603-224-1450 is our sports hotline for anyone who wants to call the show between 10-11am. Get in the game!

  • The Sports Machine w / Slim | NFL Playoff Action On A Monday!
The Buffalo/Pittsburgh game got postponed yesterday........and that makes today so much better! We get two NFL playoff games today with Pitt/Buffalo and then the Philadelphia Eagles take on the Tampa Bay Bucs tonight. The Sports Machine with Slim gets you ready for the games! The Celtics are now 19-0 at home. Will they be able to go undefeated at home for the entire season? People will definitely start to wonder that IF the Celts can take care of business this week with home games against San Antonio and the defending champion Denver Nuggets. The Bruins thankfully got a win in overtime this weekend. What a road trip! They now return to home ice for a 5 game stretch starting today against New Jersey. Let's go B's!

  • The Sports Machine w / Slim | Who Do You Like In The NFL This Weekend?
The Sports Machine with Slim starts out today talking about the hiring of Jarod Mayo as the new head coach of the New England Patriots. Mayo is now the youngest head coach in the NFL at 37 years of age. Who will be the General Manager? That is the most important next step to figure out for the Patriots franchise. The Celtics have a lot of figuring out to do themselves. What a weak effort last night against the Milwaukee Bucks. Giannis and crew scored 25 straight points during one stretch of the game. Complete no-show by the Celtics. The Bruins showed up and battled to a 1-1 game at the end of regulation. But then they cracked early into overtime, losing to the Las Vegas Knights by a score of 2-1. Fridays are for football picks here on The Sports Machine with Slim. Today, we give you some insight into how the public is thinking about each of the games coming up this playoff weekend! Listen here if you want to know who to pick, or better yet, who not to pick!
