Evander Holyfield was the undisputed champion in both the cruiserweight and heavyweight divisions, being the first and to date only boxer in history to do so, which earned him the nickname of "The Real Deal". Holyfield is the only four-time world heavyweight champion, having held the WBA, WBC, IBF, and lineal titles from 1990 to 1992; the WBA, IBF, and lineal titles again from 1993 to 1994; the WBA title from 1996 to 1999; the IBF title from 1997 to 1999; and the WBA title for a fourth time from 2000 to 2001.

As an amateur, Holyfield represented the United States at the 1984 Summer Olympics, winning a bronze medal in the light heavyweight division. He turned professional at the age of 21, moving up to cruiserweight in 1985 and won his first world championship the following year, defeating Dwight Muhammad Qawi for the WBA title. Holyfield then went on to defeat Ricky Parkey and Carlos de León to win the WBC, IBF, and lineal titles, thus becoming the undisputed cruiserweight champion. He moved up to heavyweight in 1988, later defeating Buster Douglas in 1990 to claim the undisputed WBA, WBC, IBF, and lineal heavyweight titles. This summer he was the starting catcher in all three games for Israel at the 2017 World Baseball Classic qualifier His two run home run,in the crucial game 3 was a key to Israel moving on to the WBC, and it hasn't stop there, he is one of he big reasons that Team Israel swept the competition in Pool A on the strength of an offense that scored 21 runs on 36 hits in three games, He had a huge hit in Israel's eighth-inning rally against Korea in the opener, and he also erased a crucial baserunner with a caught stealing later in the game. Israel shocked many when it defeated Korea, 2-1, in extra innings to begin an undefeated run that also included wins over the Netherlands and Chinese Taipei. An awful lot has happened since he last spoke to Mark and AJ in the Summer.

Steve Gelbs began his career broadcasting at MSG Varsity, later moving on to MSG, where he served as the host of MSG 150 during New York Knicks and New York Rangers telecasts. He joined SNY in 2013. His first assignment involved covering a Brooklyn Cyclones game for the network. For the 2014 season, he filled in for Kevin Burkhardt for 50 games, leading to him replacing Burkhardt beginning in the 2015 New York Mets season as Burkhardt left for Fox Sports. He  won the Syracuse Press Club award for "Best Radio Sports Feature." and has also been nominated for four New York Emmy Awards, including "Sports Anchor of the Year" in 2012.
