WMMR - Local Shots Podcast

Every year we have a Jaxon's Local Shots artist kick off the MMRBQ, and this year Siravo set the tone for an incredible day at the BB&T! After their set the band joined Jaxon and Sara at the broadcast booth to tell us what it was like to play the pavilion stage (and how Coop started bleeding in the middle of it), covering Chicago, and why they will forever be known as our "chicken eating bastards"... get music and more from Siravo here!

Tonight (5/24) is the the night that Jealousy Curve & Friends come together in support of a dear friend of the Philly music scene, Michael Leavy. Steven LaFashia, John Faye, David Sikorski and Jeff Campbell will all be on stage at the TLA tonight to help out Michael with his fight against cancer. They talked with Jaxon about the history of Jealousy Curve, the start of Local Shots on MMR almost 15 years ago, and of course, tonight’s show! Some tickets will be available at the door - get details on the Concert Calendar on WMMR.com.

Our good friend and Jaxon's Local Shots mainstay John Faye performed live in the MMR studio ahead of his show with Marky Ramone's Blitzkrieg at the Ardmore Music Hall. Get tickets for Thursday 12/20 at ArdmoreMusic.com!

Congratulations to Foxtrot & the Get Down, who will kick off WMMR's 50th Birthday Concert featuring Bon Jovi! Tickets and details for the show on May 3rd at the Wells Fargo Center can be found here.
