This week, Shinaaz, Erika, Murdel and Angelina gather to encourage us that even when we pass through difficult times, we can rejoice.
Psalm 27.4
One thing I ask from the Lord,
this only do I seek:
that I may dwell in the house of the Lord
all the days of my life,
to gaze on the beauty of the Lord
and to seek him in his temple.
Psalm 44.21 Would not God find this out? For He knows the secrets of the heart.
Having a right heart towards God
Self-awareness toward your heart state
[Psalm 139.23-24 Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties;
24And see if there is any wicked way in me,
And lead me in the way everlasting.]
1 Samuel 16.7
But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance or at the height of his stature, because I have rejected him; for God sees not as man sees, for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”
Luke 6.27 “But I say to you who hear: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, 28bless those who curse you, and pray for those who spitefully use you. 31And just as you want men to do to you, you also do to them likewise.
