King Charles III and Queen Camilla have made their first public appearance since touching down in Sydney, attending a service at St Thomas’ Anglican Church in North Sydney. 

They were greeted by warm weather and scorns of adoring fans, hoping for a chance to see the royal couple. 

However, amidst all the positivity and fanfare, anti-colonisation protesters have also been sited at the events chanting slogans including: “he is not our king” and “no pride in genocide”.

Luke Grant chats with 2GB Royal Correspondent Katie Fuller to see if these protesters have managed to soil what should otherwise be an historic occasion.
