I Bonds rates are expected to be 9.62 percent starting in May. The current I Bond interest rate of 7.12 percent is already very high. I Bonds are also known as Series I Savings Bonds and can be purchased from the U.S. Treasury at TreasuryDirect.gov. In this video, I go over how the IBond inflation interest rate is calculated.
