This episode is so lovely an insightful, particularly if you are having a confidence crisis or are feeling alone in feeling insecure. I first met Lexie, virtually in lockdown!! How weird, a lot of my friendships the past year have been made online, it's like an episode of Black Mirror. We have spoken on various occasions and we get on so well, I think because we both aim to look at like with the cup half full!
Though Lexie comes across as being the smilest woman EVER and secure in herself, it hasn't always been like this for her.
This is Lexie's story...

I first met Aqua filming a gameshow in Northern Island! We became friends straight away and were pretty much inseparable throughout the few days of filming. The first thing you learn about Aqua; is that she is a ball of energy, she is kind, she's bold, brave and honest. I would say she wears her heart on her sleeve, but not in a naive way - just in a really down to earth way. Another one of the first things you learn about Aqua when you first meet her is how much she loves her little girl and how much she adores being a mother.
In this episode, we explore motherhood. Aqua's experience of motherhood to date - there's still a long journey ahead of her!
Thanks so much for coming on the episode Aqua, I hope one day Lily listens to this and is blown away by the woman her Mother is x

I first met Agnes back in...2018? I actually can't remember the timings now it feels like I've known her forever. We met working at a restaurant in Stratford. Agnes was my manager and over time I went from being scared of her to becoming her sidekick (something which I'm sure our whole team loved.) We've had countless nights of drinking too much and karaoke but speaking about her move from Romania to the UK is not something we had ever spoken about...until now.
In this episode Agnes speaks about why she moved to England, how it felt for her when the British people voted for Brexit and her heritage of being Hungarian/Romanian.

In this episode I spoke with my cousin Sophie about her parents divorce. They split when she was 1 years old and I was intrigued to hear how it's impacted her view on marriage, divorce and relationships. It was so refreshing to have this conversation with her and to learn about her experience, despite being so close we had never discussed her parents divorce until now.
Thank you for sharing your story Soph x

I first met Natalie Gayle whilst volunteering at Vibe 107.6 FM. Natalie is a smiley, confident and radiant woman. She works in the media industry both presenting for channels such as Sky Arts, as well as being the face for many commercials/brands. Knowing Natalie and looking at Natalie you would not think that she has suffered with anxiety attacks to the extent that she feels paranoid and fears death.
In this episode Natalie shares how it feels to have anxiety attacks and how she manages this in her daily life.

I am so pleased that Dani approached me asking to speak about this subject. It's not something that I have ever experienced but I know that a lot of women have. She is so honest in this episode from both an emotional and physical stance. Dani is so wonderful and I'm pleased to be able to call her one of my best friends. I know how immensely difficult this process was for her and I'm so proud that she felt compelled to share her story in the hope it may support other women.
Last year Dani fell pregnant and made the decision to terminate the pregnancy.

I believe that it's so important that we take the time to try and understand the world through different people's eyes. I really value speaking with my friends from different cultures and learning about all sorts, from tradition, to food and values.
I feel so fortunate that by moving to London I was able to learn about different people from a variety of backgrounds. Being from Norfolk there isn't a huge range of nationalities and cultures, for example before moving to London I had no idea that Plantain existed...I had never seen it, heard of it or had the privilege of eating it! I have since discovered it's extremely delicious and popular!
Today's episode is all about learning and discovering what it is like to be born into the Asian Community. From 'rules' to conversation do's and do not's, relationships, religion, dynamics, racism, education and everything else in between.
I speak with Nayha Ahmad in this episode. She is such a brilliant friend and I'm so pleased we have grown closer in recent months. She is a dating guru, she is kind and warm and I feel so grateful that she came on the podcast to educate us today.

I first met Robyn about 2 years ago on a shoot for Ravensbourne University. We became friends straight away and spent each evening after the shoot heading to the Slug and Lettuce in the O2 Arena for a cheeky cocktail.
When Robyn enters a room not only do you feel more positive but you also feel more secure. She has been through various hurdles throughout her career and she has taken note of each lesson that they have provided. She has tons of wisdom beyond her years, not only when it comes to the industry but also when it comes to dealing with people.
I would class Robyn as one of my best friends, thought I haven't always shown it (due to being an A class bailer of plans) I really do hold Robyns opinions, advice and friendship dear to me and I really hope we continue to be friends throughout our lives. When we are older and completely accomplished I hope we laugh and reminisce about the times that we were working tirelessly to make our dreams come true.
She is without a doubt someone who you want to know. Cheery, lovely, ambitious, motivated, honest and caring.

Welcome to the first episode of the Woman to Woman Podcast. Thank you for joining me.
I am kicking off the series with this episode, it is so special to me and I really hope you enjoy it.
Jacquetta was one of my first best friends at Secondary School we grew up together. We broke the rules together, we experienced 'teenagehood' together and I have seen Jacquetta grow into the wonderful, ambitious woman that she is today.
Jacquetta's mother Sapphire, passed away from Ovarian Cancer when Jacquetta was 11 years old. As an only child and with other family members spread across the world the loss of her mother, united Jacquetta and her Father in a closer bond than they had ever experienced.
Jacquetta experienced loss from a young age. It's shaped her into the woman that we see before us today.
