In light of the horrific murder of Ashling Murphy, a video I recorded but never published, has become more relevant than ever.
The topic in question is encouraging women to become violent and effective at self-preservation in a bid to give would-be attackers pause for thought before launching an attack. The thinking is not to create violent people, but instead to nurture a more peaceful society by empowering each individual within that society to take charge of their own protection so that if the case arises and they find themselves alone in a threatening environment, they might be able to do just enough, to create an opportunity to flee the scenario and keep themselves safe.
I pray no one who ever watches this video is required to use it.
