“Sacred Commerce is a business built by heart” is the theme of this Women at Work conversation with Cary Mosier of Cafe Gratitude and Gracias Madre. Held at the Rose Tarlow Melrose House showroom in West Hollywood where Mosier shared the heart behind the business along with the triumphs and failures along the way.

Cafe Gratitude and Gracias Madre are founded on the unique business principle that we all are connected and that the only real win is the win-win. The business practices of the Mosier family are good for the planet, their employees, their investors and customers all in one. Their concept was to create a work environment that doubled as a school of transformation for their staff as well as their customers. Founded on an experiment to find out: “What will happen if we use the workspace to cultivate the most important human values — such as love, gratitude, connection and trust?” a restaurant revolution was born.

Ginna Christensen (founder of Women at Work) and business and life strategy coach Gail Baral talk to a group of women about the energy of client relationships. There are 7 levels of energy: You can think of them as 7 energetic lenses that form the filters through which we experience the world. The lower 2 levels feel heavy, exhausting and are destructive. As you go up the scale our energy becomes lighter, more energizing, and optimizing to the point when we are in the flow state; on purpose, focused, creative and passionate, non-judgemental and connected to the highest universal intelligence. Gail shares tips on how to achieve the higher states of energy and create better relationships with your clients.
