The past few months I have had a few friends asking me to join their MLM business, but I just didn’t see how I could do that living states away from my friends and family. In fact, I remember speaking to my cousin about a viable network marketing company and my cousin told me the same thing saying, “after contacting your friends and family who else do you reach?” I knew there was another way around this obstacle, but I did not have the how. I came across Steve Larsen during Russel Brunson’s training. Steve has his hand on the pulse of talking about the struggles of network marketers trying to get their friends and family to join their team.

I remember my own struggle when with my network marketing business. I knew Russel Brunson’s funnel building strategies through "One Funnel Away Challenge," was a game-changer; however, I struggled to implement the strategies until I came across Steven Larsen’s training for direct marketers through a mastermind group. Through Steve's training, I learned the importance of creating a podcast and providing my listeners with valuable information to help them grow their business. As I participated in the digital marketing group I met people who gave me advice on how to create my podcast and set up a system where people come to me and other master groups that are beneficial to my business. It is nice to know that I am not alone in my business journey. As a business owner who also has a full-time career, I understand the need to have marketing strategies that are flexible enough to fit into your lifestyle. You will learn ways of joining mastermind groups that will help you grow your business.

In the podcast, Christiane Discuss how to create funnels that will help you to get leads. Funnels are a great way to collect emails from your ideal target market of people who are interested in the solutions you provide through your products or service. As you are reaching out to your audience through different social media platforms, it makes sense to lead your audience to a page that they can fill out their email address to get more information from you. In turn, you are able to continue to provide your leads with value by sending them emails with information about your products or services that will help them to solve their problems. As people in your email list see value in the products you over, these leads began to convert into paying customers. Christiane talks about how when she lost her job during the recession and working an MLM business helped her to be able to support her family while she was attending college. Instead of wasting time and starting a business from scratch, Christiane joined a direct marketing business. She took $500 dollars and used it in her business and made $1,000. The money multiplied itself over and over again as she invested in her business and sold products. In today’s economy, there is no way you can make at a 50% interest just saving your money in the bank. In direct marketing, you are able to learn and grow with a leader who is mentoring you each step of the way. Most of all as you learn you are teaching others to grow their own business. She talks about how to choose the right business for you. You need a mentoring system of leaders who will help you to grow and succeed in your business. Shifting and protecting your mind is an important strategy if you want to accomplish your financial dreams and lead in the digital marketing arena. It takes changing your outlook and perspective to make the sacrifices you need to make to build your business. Remove your negative thoughts and toxic people out who hinder the growth of your business. Replace your negative thoughts with a positive affirmation. Determine what areas in your life and business that you need to improve and make the changes. Surround yourself with people who are experts in the area that you want to achieve who will help you to get to your desired outcome. Reminder you are the one person who can determine your destiny.

While writing the last chapters of my book, I began to think about marketing strategies. During research, I came across Russell Brunson’s Dotcom Secrets and Experts Secrets book. In Dotcom Secrets, Russell Brunson talks about creating a value ladder. He explains how he creates funnels leading his ideal customer through each step of his value ladder. This system very similar to

· McDonalds’ “do you want an apple with it.

· Apple store (warrantee, sell you Microsoft software, headphones)

· Solve a problem which creates another problem, leading to product for the next value step
