What do you want, and what do you find pleasure in?” — that’s the question someone asked our multifaceted feature, Hara (Cherhara). The Creative Project Consultant, Registered Nurse, and Farmer’s Advocate was confronted with this question, and it led her to realize how little she had been pouring into herself after pouring so relentlessly into others. Now, she’s turning the question back to others—specifically women—hoping that in their response, they’ll recognize not only the lack of pleasure-filled activities in their own lives, but also the absence of a belief system that supports and gives them permission to embrace pleasure as a lifestyle.
