Kimberly Henry is the youngest of her siblings but always felt responsible for everyone's happiness, even that of her two alcoholic parents. No doubt this early childhood trauma contributed to her future domestically violent relationships, which included her daughter's father. However, when she was locked down in her home, like the rest of the world, in 2020, she began to put her story on paper. Mary Sanders always knew she wanted to help people in a hands-on way, so after graduating college at an early age, she went right into chiropractic school and graduated with a doctorate with an emphasis in functional nutrition. She was born with 50% hearing loss that went undiagnosed until age 3, however all her education was mainstream. She was ready to make her mark on the entrepreneurial landscape! Melissa made her way to Nashville more than 15 years ago to fulfill a lifelong dream of becoming a professional Songwriter. Mission accomplished. She’s a self-taught guitar and piano player who doesn’t take one day for granted. Melissa not only writes and performs for a living, she also mentors, educates and works with corporations and organizations like GAB, Generations Against Bullying. So, it was a natural fit when she was hired to oversee the creation of all the music for Speak Life To End Bullying, The Musical performed nationwide!

In 2013 she founded Rhyme Partners Music Publishing on Music Row in Nashville. She is also excited to be collaborating with neuropsychologist, Dr. Sarah Allen on The Musical Imprint.
