Today we are discussing the latest GBV events in the country briefly and taking the time to remember the events that took place in 2019.

This episode covers the annual celebration of Women's Day in South Africa and how the women of today feel about celebrating this day in light of what is happening in our country.

Episode 4 discusses Gender Based Violence in South Africa and the roles in which our society and government have come to play.

Episode 3 discusses mental health and how students are affected, especially during this time. The guest of the day shares her experience with mental illness and how she is coordinating her way through life and keeping her academics in check despite the challenges.

Today’s episode has sparked many debates and conversations on social media, particularly after the commencement of online learning and addresses from the Minister of higher learning, science and technology, This topic is the issues surrounding missing middle students who are receiving very little support financially and always face financial exclusions from their institutions.

Since the start of the pandemic South African universities have had to make changes to how they conduct lectures and how the rest of the academic year would plan out. This created the shift to online learning and our guests will be discussing how they have been affected by the change.
