About Women Incarcerated: Life Before, During and After Prison - A Journey Home Podcast
From the publisher's feed
For more than 20 years, Journey Home has brought arts programming to women in Estrella Jail. This podcast follows women before, during and after prison. Our intent is to sensitize our audience…
to the plight of women who were incarcerated and shift the stereotypical narrative.
These women are mothers, daughters, grandmothers, professional, blue collar workers and some have disabilities. Way too often they’re ostracized, stigmatized and penalized long after they serve their time. These are their stories.
