Sana Saddique is the Founder and Managing Director of Collective Law Solicitors. She's the first Muslim, hijab wearing female founder and director of a law firm within Birmingham, UK. She had the idea for Collective Law Solicitors in 2020 when she first decided that change was needed in the legal profession. Having often been one of the only non-white lawyers, the only female lawyer and the only lawyer visibly different by virtue of wearing a headscarf, she wanted to create a more diverse and inclusive law firm where everyone is welcome and made to feel accepted and valued. Earlier this year, she also launched The Lawyer Network CIC to help further this aim of ensuring diversity and inclusion within the legal profession, to improve social mobility and make the profession more accessible to individuals from Black, Asian and ethnic minority backgrounds.
