She holds a doctorate in Physical Therapy and is a Master Pilates instructor with a rich background as a professional ballet dancer and teacher. Kirsten is a sought-after speaker and presenter in her fields of movement, wellness, and faith.

Everything changed for Kirsten when she became a mom six years ago. Motherhood, she says, is her greatest calling and privilege. She believes her home—and her boys—are her most important ministry.

Joey and Kirsten are traveling ministers, sharing the gospel together as a family whenever and wherever the Lord leads.

Kirsten is a natural teacher and loves to dive deeper into the Greek and Hebrew of the Bible.

She has recently completed her second children’s book called God’s Word for Little Lips and Hands. This book is born out of the deep value Kirsten and Joey place on God’s Word—and the joy they’ve found in teaching their sons to speak it aloud. They created this series to help other families do the same.

Maria Valarezo is a devoted wife, mother of three sons, and grandmother of two, whose life has been marked by faith, resilience, and a heart for service. Born in Guayaquil, Ecuador and raised in New York City, she later settled in Miami before moving to Spring Hill, Florida, where she continues to grow in her calling. For 27 years, Maria served as an educator—a vocation she deeply loved—until illness led her into a new season of rest and rediscovery.

Her walk with Christ has been the anchor of her life, especially through her illness, career transition, and her husband’s diagnosis of Frontal Temporal Dementia. Maria came to faith at 16, influenced by her mother’s dramatic transformation in Christ and the encouragement of her younger sister. Through every season, she testifies to God’s sustaining peace and strength, reflected in her life verse: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” (Philippians 4:13).

Early in her faith journey, Maria served in Children’s Ministry and later taught in a Christian school before moving into the public school system. Today, she continues her passion for empowering others through her work with LegalShield, where she educates families on the importance of legal protection. She also supports ministries such as Warrior 321, an anti–human trafficking organization. Maria is an active member of Northcliffe Church in Spring Hill, Florida. She currently leads the Women’s Bible Study, where she pours into women with compassion, wisdom, and a deep love for God’s Word. Guided by gratitude and purpose, she is committed to serving, teaching, and being a light wherever God leads her.

Yet too often, believers either dismiss him as a cartoon character with horns and a pitchfork or give him more power than he actually has. The truth of Scripture is that while Satan is our adversary, we have been given authority over all his works through the blood of Jesus, the Word of God, and the power of the Holy Spirit.
