Helen Rose was shuttled between her birth mother and various foster homes eight times before her adoption at age four. She lived in rural Ontario with her adoptive family, an alcoholic father, and a cold, distant mother. Helen left home at the age of 16 to begin a life on her own. After finding love and getting married, Helen was finally happy, until the "dreaded text" from another woman.

Helen is the author of 53 Grove Road. She is a life coach, a Podcast Host, and a motivational speaker. She believes her journey has given her the voice to share her story with others who may have traveled along similar paths.
