I’m a Cuban/American born, 1959, in Washington DC. Now I don't tell every one my birthyear - but because you have decided to read this, I thought it best that you get to know who I am from the beginning.

I have been a doctor since 1991. The only reason I went into the medical field was because I wanted to help people. I wanted to get to the root of the dis-ease, not just throw a Band-Aid on it. My patients weren't getting any better, they were just existing. My goal is to see people healed.

The decision to become a doctor was planted in my mind when I was five years old. My uncle Dr. Julio Perez, an anaesthesiologist, has this amazing way about him. When he walked into the room his smile, his positive attitude, would light up the room. He would just make you feel happy, and you would start smiling. At five years of age I decided, and said to my mom, "I want to be a doctor like Tio Julito" (Uncle Julio in Spanish).

In 2000, my husband, and our two young daughters moved to New Zealand to see what it’s like to experience a different culture of the world. Yes, we had never been there, or even knew where it was. What a crazy, and life-changing decision for our family!

After the first 20 years of being a medical doctor, in the last 10 years I have been studying Functional Medicine, which focuses on the root cause of disease and its treatments.

My husband, Culinary Nutrition Expert, Chef Michael, and I created the brand of Doctoronamission, where we prevent and reverse disease and give hope. Our expertise is in Alzheimers, Dementa, Cognitive Decline, Anxiety, Depression, and Diabetes. We have been doing Tele-Medicine for the past 7 Years with our online business of Doctoronamission.com where we offer online courses and 1x1 coaching.

And so here we are together. Let's start walking together, and I'll share with you what worked for me and can also work for you. I want to give you hope.

Paytience is currently in training for the biennial world championships and trains at the Oak Flats Albion Park Gymnastics Club in Sydney Australia

At just 10 years of age, Paytience Hesse is already a star of online videos showcasing her incredible acrobatic skills as she aims to become a world champion.

The youngster is the 2019 level 6 state and national champion and also holds the children's world record in the seven to nine-year-old category for the longest ring handstand — which she held for 29 seconds.

She has already doubled that time in training.

While Acrobatics is not an Olympic sport, it "feeds into Cirque du Soleil", the French-Canadian circus that features world-class displays of theatre and human strength.

In this episode of Memoirs of Successful Women, The Transformation Queen Annie Gibbins interviews Julie Randall 💕 Cancer Survivor, International Speaker and Best Selling Author of Patient 71

Julie is an Australian Best Seller l, a healthy and happy wife and mother of two teenage daughters living on the picturesque beaches of Sydney.

In June of 2012, Julie thought her life was just about perfect. She was a happy wife and mother of two teenage daughters living on the picturesque beaches of Sydney. But days after her 50th birthday celebration, her idyllic existence took a shocking and devastating turn. 

She was diagnosed with stage four metastatic advanced melanoma, handed a brochure on palliative care, and told to get her affairs in order because she only had months to live.

Julie refused to crawl into bed and surrender to her presumed fate. She had watched her mother suffer a similar ordeal, but Julie was not about to leave a husband she loved and two daughters who needed her.  

Instead, she made a promise to them that she would ‘fix it’ and that she would not die.   

In searching for answers, Julie came across an experimental drug trial taking place in the United States that was showing some promise, but the trial was full at 70 patients and was limited to US citizens only.  

Through relentless appeals and sheer determination, Julie became PATIENT 71. Gambling against all odds, she left her family to join the trial in Portland, Oregon, not knowing if she would ever return to Sydney.

Patient 71 is the story of a woman’s strength and courage, and her triumph over a fatal diagnosis with the undying support of her husband, her daughters, and numerous extended family members.  

Readers cannot help but to be drawn into the life of this beautiful family and laugh and cry along with them.  

Julie and her family teach us how to not only survive life’s challenges, but how to live with joy and laughter through them.

Julie’s incredible story has become a source of hope and strength to many individuals faced with a life-threatening illness, and for the past eight years, Julie has made it her life’s purpose to mentor other cancer patients.  

She is also an international motivational speaker and has spoken at conferences and cancer fundraising events around the world.  

Today, Julie continues to spend most of her time in Sydney, thankful for every day with her husband and daughters.

I’m a change-maker dedicated to seeing a change with how we view some of the tougher subjects and I am not afraid to speak up.

Spending her time working with some great causes and fellow change-makers, this last year has been a big one including having her own radio show on the w4wn and featured articles in Ymag.

Toni lives on a small acreage property in the hinterland adjacent to the pristine beaches of Queensland’s Gold Coast, Australia. She lives with her husband and an assortment of dogs, goats, llamas, ducks and chickens and enjoys long visits from her two adult children, their partners and her grandson.

Toni was a nurse who formerly worked as a nurse consultant in her own company, before retiring to pursue her dream of writing a book or three.

Toni grew up on a rural property in the middle of nowhere. After completing her nursing training in regional Queensland, she spent the next 30 years working as a nurse in a variety of roles from clinical nursing to management, culminating with the formation of her own company in 2012. As a nurse consultant, for her own consulting company, she provided Safety and Quality support to small hospitals across the country. Her work involved process management, clinical management and lots of health-based writing.

Her creative writing journey did not commence until 2018 with her first book, Resilience. A memoir that details her struggle with depression, anxiety and trauma in her life and how she overcomes this to lead a healthy, happy fulfilling life. She is passionate about self-awareness, self-improvement and being the best person, she can be.

Her second book, when its written, Whole Again, details the strategies she used to ensure her own healing and personal growth. Her deep desire to inspire people with her story of struggle and overcoming trauma and sees her speaking around the country and overseas.

When she’s not writing you can find her talking to her beloved goats, laughing with her husband or enjoying time with her wee grandson. An avid gardener and small farm hobbyist, her next book will be on the joys of owning goats and small-scale hobby farm self-sustainability.

A writer by day and an avid Facebook scanner by night, she is loath to discuss herself in the third person but can be persuaded to do so from time to time.
