Are you thinking of planning a women’s ministry team retreat? This episode is packed with tips and ideas including: when, where, and how to plan a women’s ministry team retreat.
I’m a big fan of monthly women’s ministry team meetings, however, monthly meetings rarely offer enough time for long-term planning and deeper team building.
In this episode, you'll learn how to strategically plan a team retreat that includes time for planning and relationship-building.
Don't miss the story I share at the end about the special bonding experience I had with one of my teammates!
Quote: Think of all the ways you can encourage friendships and fellowship. You might not all become best friends, but time together should make you better friends.

What should fellowship look like for women's ministry? What makes Christian fellowship different? In today's podcast episode I'm reading from chapter 1 of my book, Rethinking Fellowship: A Handbook for Hosting Meaningful Women's Ministry Events.
No matter what type of women's ministry gathering you host, you'll be encouraged and challenged as we examine "What is fellowship?".
Don't miss the practical ideas for infusing the gospel into our women's ministry events and meetings at the end of the show!

In this week's podcast episode, I dive deep into the wonderful world of hosting an impactful women's ministry kickoff event.

Don't miss the 7 things you'll want to include in your women's ministry kick-off!

Today, as global and national events continue to unfold with unsettling regularity, our focus is on a timely and crucial topic: what women’s ministry leaders should say on social media when tragedy strikes.
In this episode, inspired by the recent assassination attempt on a former president, we'll explore how ministry leaders can offer hope, encouragement, and point people to Christ even amidst chaos. Join me as I share key questions to consider before posting, Bible verses for comfort, and practical steps for crafting sensitive, compassionate responses.

Please note taking a summer sabbatical. This is a replay of episode 37, Discipleship and Discernment in Women's Ministry.
As I’ve spent time wrestling with the Lord about what to share and how to share on this topic, I came across these four words “developing a discerning heart.” My goal in this podcast episode is for us to continue to develop discerning hearts.
As mentors, Bible study leaders, and disciplers we have a responsibility to encourage the development of a discerning heart in those God has placed in our path.
I share my discernment process and advice for gracefully and prayerfully sharing concerns we may have with others.
Please note: You may want to pop your earbuds in for this episode. We’re not going to camp there, but I will share a little bit of content that you may not wish to explain to children who may be listening.
Quote: "Even when I’m fairly confident about my opinion, I ask the Lord to show me if I’m wrong. Though I can have some strong opinions, I’m not an expert on all topics. I don’t always get it right." Cyndee Ownbey
