We continue to denounce the scourge of violence against women and children. Women are yet to be free from all forms of violence. We call for the intervention of God Almighty in these difficult times. The plague of gender-based violence casts a dark shadow over South Africa. Horrific killings of women and high rates of reported rape in our society demand collective action and decisive measures. We ask God to enlighten South Africans and give us the strength to overcome. During Women's History Month, we pray for the women of South Africa and for an end to violence in all its forms.
