In times like this we draw nearer to God as we seek our salvation. There is still time to accept Jesus Christ as the Lord and Saviour.
The Lord has been an anchor and remains faithful to all those who trust in Him
Description: Hey everyone, as we walk into this new year, an uncertain world still at war with itself, I want to remind you of these powerful words from Psalm 118:19-20. "Open for me the gates of the righteous; I will enter and give thanks to the Lord. This is the gate of the Lord through which the righteous may enter. As we walk through this new year, may the doors of favor and righteousness open for each and every one of us. May we walk into abundance, good health, joy and peace. And as we walk through, let us remember to give thanks to the Most High God for His endless goodness and mercy. I pray this will be a year of breakthrough for you and your loved ones. Let's walk into this new year with hope and faith.
We continue to denounce the scourge of violence against women and children. Women are yet to be free from all forms of violence. We call for the intervention of God Almighty in these difficult times. The plague of gender-based violence casts a dark shadow over South Africa. Horrific killings of women and high rates of reported rape in our society demand collective action and decisive measures. We ask God to enlighten South Africans and give us the strength to overcome. During Women's History Month, we pray for the women of South Africa and for an end to violence in all its forms.
In this episode we reach out to young people to come closer to Jesus Christ and keep their lamps burning.
In the midst of the chaos and distress we experience, we turn to Christ for guidance. There are moments in our lives when our tranquility is disrupted to the point where we feel unhappy and dissatisfied. During such times, we seek assurance, solace, and serenity from our God. We find solace in the knowledge that He has vowed to never abandon or forsake us. This reassurance empowers us, as we understand that no matter what challenges we face, we will overcome.
In the midst of upheaval in the world today - wars, natural disasters, crime, gender-based violence, hunger, poverty, hopelessness, and despair - we ask for divine intervention. Our only hope is with the Lord. We are assured through the Word of God that we are not alone. We walk in His favour.
A fascinating, gripping and highly politicised account of Judge Dikgang Moseneke's schooling in the early sixties. Judge Dikgang Moseneke pays homage to the many places and people that have shaped his schooling in apartheid South Africa.
As we celebrate the renewal of our covenant with our God, as Christians, we pray for the people of Kwazulu Natal in South Africa, who have, due to inclement and changing weather patterns experienced the most devastating and tragic natural disaster ever seen We pray that they will find sustenance and remain steadfast. This episode offers support and strength during this difficult period faced by South Africa.
With the kind permission of Pan Macmillan South Africa we read an excerpt from the highly acclaimed memoir of Judge Dikgang Moseneke "My Own Liberator".
