Alexis Manson, a Model, graphic designer, and cheerleader of women everywhere! In March of 2018, she launched VOGUISH GRACE, a powerful social media personality publicizing her self-discovery journey while collaborating with individuals within her niche to merge and expand networks. The Voguish Grace movement serves as a support system for other women to never lose sight of their dreams and to help them see and realize all their possibilities and potential. Alexis is a signed Model in Boston and New York.

For nearly 10 years, Jim Vincent has served as the president of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) Providence Branch. Since 2013, Jim has worked for Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA), first, as the Civil Rights Compliance Officer and, currently, as the Community Outreach Officer.

For the past 18 years, he has served as the producer and host of television's Jim Vincent Show.

Additionally, Jim serves as the president of the East Bay Community Action Program (EBCAP) and serves on the Executive Committees of the African Alliance of Rhode Island (AARI) and the Southern New England Association of Black Journalists (SNEABJ). He is a member of the Cape Verdean Progressive Center.

Jim is a former president of the Urban League of Rhode Island (ULRI) and the Rhode Island Affirmative Action Professionals (RIAAP).

Jim holds a Master of City Planning (MCP) from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from Dartmouth College. He is a graduate of Leadership Rhode Island (LRI).

Originally from Boston, Massachusetts, he is a resident of Cranston, Rhode Island.

Meet Yolonda Smith, the perfect woman to inspire us to manifest our power within. Yolonda spent 4 years in the Rhode Island child welfare system. She is currently a Staff Consultant at the National Foster Youth Institute, Educational Specialist for youth in foster care and founder of Beyond Measurement. She currently resides in Rhode Island with her husband and three sons.

Candida Rose is a Jazz/Gospel/Cape Verdean/R&B Vocalist born in New Bedford, MA. She is also a song-writer, entertainer, music, and cultural educator. Her 10-song debut CD entitled “kabumerikana: The Sum Of Me, combines her Cape Verdean musical roots with her American (primarily Jazz) influences, a mixture she calls “kabujazz”. She was recently featured on PBS national television program: No Passport Required/Boston presenting music and culture of Cabo Verde.

Dr. Janice Johnson Dias holds a PHD in Sociology from Temple University with a specialization in urban and political sociology. Now a tenured Associate Professor of Sociology at John Jay, Janice is also president of The Grass Roots Community Foundation, a New Jersey-based training institution with a focus on public health and social action that she co-founded in 2011-which she quotes “it is my life’s work.” We discuss tips on how to help teenagers cope with the anxiety around COVID19.

Lucy Coutinho is an Author, Educator, and Host of Women's Wellness Podcast. She is the founder of Luce Inspiration, a positive media company using words and multimedia to empower and heal. You can find her book; Peaces Of Freedom (A Self-Healing Journal) on Amazon and Kindle.

Lucy's core message is to collectively help to raise the vibration of our planet, one story at a time. Her work is a response to her personal healing and self-development journey. She has held inspirational talks, given journaling workshops, and has participated in panel discussions at various women's empowerment events. Lucy resides in Los Angeles with her life-partner, Ahmad and their children.
