We're back for part 2 this week diving into all the details of our winter weekend camping trip in Jervis Bay!
We start with the journey, how to get there, the best ways to prepare for the speediest exit from Sydney possible, and getting into Green Patch campground in Booderee National Park.
The weather wasn't holding up how we had hoped and a few twists and turns made our first night an adventure.
Once daylight showed itself on Saturday, we set out for a bush walk, experienced the Booderee Botanic Gardens, Jervis Bay Brewing Co, and our favorite, The Gunyah.
Listen in for the adventure and what it's like camping in Jervis Bay, alongside our thoughts on some recommendations made in our Jervis Bay Part 1 episode!

Planning a travel itinerary anywhere can be challenging. What do you do? What do you prioritize seeing? What can you skip? How can you experience the city like a local instead of just a tourist?
While some cities are easier than others, Amsterdam proves to be a challenge — There’s so much to do and see, experiencing Amsterdam in just two days is tough, let alone putting together a great itinerary that will give you the local feel while hitting the best tourist spots is easier said than done.
This episode does exactly that- combines the local with the touristy!
We dive into the best tourist spots to hit (think, museums!), local cafes, markets, museums, and parks that you likely haven’t heard of and hit the below topics (and more!) to give you the best 2-day itinerary possible:
There are two 2-day itineraries in this episode, so if you’ve been before (or even live there!) and hit the hot spots, there are sure to be great places and things to do you haven’t heard of before.
Thank you in advance for listening! We hope you’ll enjoy!

In Amsterdam, there’s more than meets the eye (outside of tulips!). There’s so much, it can be challenging to take it all in when planning a visit.
In this episode, we’ve tried to put everything you need to know where to go, stay, explore, what cafes to visit, and more together in one place.
We touch on what it's like to visit the Red Light District and how to respectfully visit. The best neighborhoods for a fun vibe, what not to do in Amsterdam, and where to go for a fun night out!
Amsterdam Part 1 serves as your overview, everything you need to know before you go and what you need to know to start preparing for your trip.
Part 2 (coming soon!) will be focused on two perspectives on the best 2 day itinerary that takes everything we’ve put into this episode and narrows it down into two days (which was tough)!
Look out for part 2, thank you for listening, and we hope you enjoy the Amsterdam part 1 episode!

Home to the best beach in the world a few years back, Jervis Bay is in a constant state of showing off.
From it's white sand beaches, adventurous bushwalks, or dolphin sitings, Jervis Bay has everything you could want out of a coastal town.
Perfect for camping, which we highly recommend, it's situated just south of Sydney 2.5-3 hours. After the drive, you're rewarded with beach swims, bush walks, and your choice of dining in or eating out(side)!
In this episode we cover everything from the nearby wineries, our favorite camping spots, and best beaches.
We love how relaxed Jervis Bay is, all the options for adventure, or a relaxing weekend. It's our favorite weekend trip from Sydney and one you don't want to miss!

Ravello is something special, and we're diving into why in this episode!
Starting with the important things like transport, how you get to Ravello isn't as simple as you'd think and takes longer than you might initially budget for.
We promise once you arrive, it's worth the wait. Thankfully, we have some tips and things we'd do differently if we could go back that should save you some headaches on your travels.
Once you are there, it's a dreamy town and you'll find in our recap of our two days in Ravello that there are great shops, historical sites, and opportunities to relax away from the hustle and bustle. The food is amazing, as is the wine produced right in Ravello.
This episode also includes an exciting story on how Christine fell sick, how we found a local Italian doctor to help, and takeaways if you get sick when traveling in Italy.
Consider this episode your go-to for all things Ravello, and music to your ears if you're looking to listen to travel stories, tips, and tricks!

The Rome 2-day itinerary!
With such a beautiful city with so much to see, it isn’t easy to build an itinerary in 2 days that covers it all. We tried to hit the must-see’s and do’s, leaving Rome feeling full of history, culture, and pasta.
In this episode, we dive into everything we did in our 2 days visiting Rome. From our first pasta carbonara right after we landed, to the cocktail bar full of locals we found wandering around the streets on our last night. We touch on our favorite gluten-free restaurant we visited, the hotel we stayed in, and everything in between.
You’ll leave this episode full of tips (maybe even ones you didn’t know you needed like where to buy protein bars) and ones you’ve heard of, but we found made a difference. If you’re a Rome lover or planning a trip, this isn’t an episode you’ll want to miss!
If you’re looking for a general episode on Rome, head to Part 1 where we talk about our initial impressions, what we loved, and our takeaways from this trip. We also talk more about eating gluten-free in Italy, too.

To many people, Byron bay is home to the eternal summer. Just north of Sydney a short 8 hour drive or a 1 hour flight, you'll find an oasis that's more than your average beach town.
Byron Bay is iconic for a reason, and it's amazing not just in the summer season. Byron boasts beautiful people, fresh food, social locals and the most "chill" vibe (according to our UK friends visiting) you'd hope to find.
When heading to Byron, you can hop on a quick flight from Sydney or head up the NSW coast to drive along the Eastern coastline, finding yourself in Byron Bay just south of the Queensland border.
In this episode, we talk a lot about the vibe, how Byron feels, where we stayed, and some favorite places to eat. We loved the locations we stayed in, and our favorite hotel that stole our hearts on this trip.
Take your time here, life moves slow, people are living. It's a spot you'll want to be sure to add to your bucket list.
