Kausha knew she wanted more children but her unhealthy body image and practices were getting in the way of that righteous desire. Luckily, she had an inspired friend who helped her realized her unhealthy habits needed to end. As she talked to her husband about having another baby, he reminded her of the "Disneyland rule." (They needed to have an even number of children for everyone to have a ride partner at Disneyland) What this meant for Kausha was two more children. While this felt overwhelming to her, she knew that was her commitment. Miraculously God blessed her with twins and even gave her a divine vision that alleviated all her anxiety about this. What is the balance between relying on your own strength and resources vs. relying on God? Do you only rely on God after all you can do? Or should you rely on God first to then strengthen you? Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct thy paths. What burdens are you carrying on your own right now (relying on your own strength) that you can give to the Lord and let Him help you (relying on God's strength)? How can you invite and include God more in your daily life? What would this look like to involve God in all things?

Today, Allison shares three miracles that occurred while she and Ben (her husband) traveled through Europe as newlyweds. This was before cell phones so prayer was their only resource for help. Listen to hear how asking for the righteous desires of their hearts helped Allison learn the lesson that miracles happen when we rely on God for everything.
