In ‘Made in SG’, Melanie Oliveiro speaks with author, Yao Shih Lien, known affectionately as Dr. Lotus, about his latest book “Waterlily in Bloom”. The 172-page guide – complete with colour pictures – helps those new to waterlilies understand how to plant and maintain this freshwater flowering plant. Yao will also talk about waterlily’s rich history and diverse varieties and how to solve common problems like pests, health issues and environmental challenges.
