Welcome to the third and final season of the Wongutha Stories podcast series. In this final season, every podcast starts with an Acknowledgement of Country by current Wongutha student at the time of recording, Micheesha. The intro and outro music is taken from the song Eternity, written and performed by the Wongutha students a few years ago.
In the first episode, Shyeri, Sahalia, Cameron, Jonelle, and Pedro - the young people who participated in the development of the podcasts and Wadjareckon app - yarn about the project and what the app is about. The app is for all Aboriginal young people to help them prepare for and manage life after school. It is free and easy to use: go to the website (https://www.wadjareckon.com/) and save an icon to your mobile phone home screen to open whenever you need (access to the Internet is required).
In the following episodes, current Wongutha students yarn with former students of Wongutha Gary, Carmen, Keith, and Paul about their schooling and post-school experiences.
In the final part of the season, the project team and Wongutha Principal and teachers look back at how it all started and how the project developed.
We hope you enjoy the final season of the Wongutha Stories podcast series. If you like what you hear, please leave us a rating and review.
