Lying to God is met with very serious consequences. Nothing and no one is hidden from His sight. The "fear of the Lord" as described in the Scriptures should lead us to rejoice in His faithfulness and goodness.

God's people should be marked by generosity and graciousness.

God can and will use anyone to accomplish His purposes in the world.

"...there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12)

Jesus, our Prophet, Priest and King, is the only way to experience abundant life and escape divine judgment.

The name of Jesus is the name above every name. Despite our waywardness and denial, His healing and forgiveness is available to all who call upon Him

Our ordinary obedience may put us in position to experience something extraordinary.

The early church was devoted to the apostles' teaching, fellowship, the breaking of bread and to prayer. We ought to follow their example.

From the earliest moments of the church those who followed Jesus spoke with confidence about the resurrection. We can share in that confidence.

The pouring out of the Spirit at Pentecost ushers in a new era in which salvation is available to all who call on Jesus' name.
