Our thoughts aren't always working for us. It may be why the Bible speaks so much about how we think.
Our thought life is weird. We can have competing and untrue thoughts. Worse, our thoughts aren't always working for us. It's so hard to live the way God calls us to when our own thoughts are sabotaging us. This is why Scripture speaks so much about managing our thought life.
(Acts 17) The resurrection is a disruptive truth that will bring hope and meaning to every corner of our lives.
(Acts 28) Whatever story you're telling yourself about the world, life, and God is probably true. If we only see misery, that's probably all we'll experience. If we see goodness and joy, we might catch glimpses of both.
(Acts 9:36-42) We all leave a legacy of some sort. Will it be the kind of legacy that we want?
