The most popular version of the Christmas Story is Luke 1-20. But because we are so familiar with it, we assume we've seen all there is to see in this story. But what if we opened our eyes and made room in our hearts? What might God reveal to us? (Luke 2:1-20; Matthew 2:10.11; 2 Corinthians 9:15; 2 Peter 1:16-20)

What God wants us to see and believe is that the Promised Messiah of the Old Testament is Jesus in the New Testament. The story surrounding his coming into the world is the real reason behind the celebration of Christmas. (Genesis 49:11; Isaiah 11:1; Jeremiah 23:5,6; Matthew 1:1-17; Micah 5:2; Matthew 2:1-6)

Those who listen to the words of Jesus and do them are wise builders. Those who do not do them are foolish builders. Choose to be a wise builder.Mathew 7:24-29

As we near the end of the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus gives two warnings to His followers to help keep them from deception. This message will discuss the warnings against false-prophets and against self-deception, and how we can avoid both. (Matthew 7:15-23)

Like all good conclusions, Jesus comes to the end of his sermon and challenges us to make a decision. He gives us only two options and one choice. (Matthew 7:13-14)

Jesus challenges us to pray with more persistence because we have a faithful and good Heavenly Father. He also challenges us to love others according to the Golden Rule. (Matthew 7:7-12)

In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus is calling his followers to be investors in the kingdom of heaven while we are still living on earth. (Matthew 6:19-24)

When we fast, God wants us to hunger after him and seek him and not to draw attention to ourselves to impress others. Our Motives Matter to God. (Matthew 6:16-18)
