Last week, Pastor Andrew Hanna closed our series called Built for More where we talked about Gods people being about His glory being known among all the nations. We talked about the church being Spiritual family on mission together. The series before that, we dove into the Psalms and saw that we as the church must assemble we must delight ourselves in God’s word, confess our sins to each other gather to worship together and gather to testify to God's deliverance. 

Today, Pastor Andrew will dive into Scripture in Romans 1:16-17 where we will discover that the secret of keeping the church alive is by keeping the Gospel at the center, because the Gospel is the power of God that saves, is for everyone who believes, and it reveals the righteousness of God. 

As we wrap up our series, Built for More, where we've studied how God desires for us to live in community together, we conclude by looking at what God desires to do through us as His people. How do you know what your priorities really are? We prioritize what we delight in. The things that give us the greatest joy, we tend to meditate on. The same is true for the church when we gather. What we delight in most, what we value most, is what we prioritize, even when we gather as a church body. Through the Parable of the Great Reversal, Jesus points our focus inward, inviting us to reflect on our own posture toward the Word of God. At the same time, he guides our attention to what’s to come, revealing to each one of us how our posture today determines our position in eternity.
