We long for truth, goodness, beauty, hope, and purpose, but our blindness can keep us from seeing what’s right in front of us. The good news is that Jesus is closer than we think. In John 9, Jesus heals a man born blind and reveals a deeper reality: everyone is blind in some way. Everyone is looking, but not everyone wants to see. And true sight comes when we encounter Jesus.

What do we do when God’s plans take longer than we expected? In 2 Samuel 5, David finally becomes king after years of waiting, showing that God is faithful to finish what He starts.
