None of us desire to have our lives wasted. We all long to live a life of meaning and significance and to be about something bigger than ourselves. In the first message of our series Don't Waste Your Life, we look at Romans 11:33 - 12:1 to see how we can align our lives with God's purpose for everything that exists and, in doing so, find the greater purpose for our lives as well! 

In the book of Genesis, we learn that God created us to be in relationship with Him, to care for His world, and to experience unity with Him and one another. Yet we also see the effects of sin that set the perfect world He created into chaos. As the story continues, we watch God choose a family through which to rescue humanity from the destructive power of sin. It's through this story we discover God's purpose for the family, and by extension for all human relationships. As we conclude our message series, Family: Why Bother?, we look to the life of Joseph and his family to uncover convincing evidence that God is not limited to working within only wholesome and functional relationships! His sovereign grace can perform its work amid the most tragic of circumstances. Parents promise their children lots of things. If you finish your dinner, you can eat dessert; if you go potty on the toilet, you can have an M&M; and the list goes on. But the trick is, this type of promise only works if the parents stay true to their word – because if your toddler goes potty on the toilet and doesn’t get an M&M, they’ll lose faith. And you’ll gain dirty laundry.
