We’re all looking for purpose and meaning, but where we look for it matters.

In Acts 17:22–31, Paul speaks to the people of Athens about their search for spirituality and transcendence. Their religion promised purpose but ultimately left them striving to find God on their own.

As we continue our 'You’re Looking for Jesus' series, discover how Jesus reveals where our purpose is truly found. You’re looking for Jesus, and He’s closer than you think.

We’re all looking for love, but where we look for it matters.

In John 4:4–29, Jesus meets a Samaritan woman searching for love and fulfillment in the wrong places. Her story reveals how our deepest longings can lead us toward relationships and intimacy that can never fully satisfy.

As we continue 'You’re Looking for Jesus,' discover how Jesus offers the love we’ve been looking for. You’re looking for Jesus, and He’s closer than you think.

We’re all looking for something to satisfy us. We were created with deep longings for meaning, purpose, love, and fulfillment, but what we look to for satisfaction matters.

In Jeremiah 2:11–13, God reveals how we can turn good longings toward worthless substitutes. Looking isn’t the problem. Where we look is.

As we continue 'You’re Looking for Jesus,' discover how our core longings can lead us toward idolatry and why Jesus alone can truly satisfy. You’re looking for Jesus, and He’s closer than you think.

Everyone is looking for something. We long for truth, goodness, beauty, hope, and purpose, but our blindness can keep us from seeing what’s right in front of us. The good news is that Jesus is closer than we think.

In John 9, Jesus heals a man born blind and reveals a deeper reality: everyone is blind in some way. Everyone is looking, but not everyone wants to see. And true sight comes when we encounter Jesus.

As we begin this new message series, You’re Looking for Jesus, discover what John 9 teaches us about spiritual blindness, faith, and seeing Jesus clearly. You’re looking for Jesus and He’s closer than you think.

What does God have next for Woodside Bible Church? As we enter our eighth decade of ministry, people are more open to the Gospel than we’ve seen in years. They’re looking for Jesus and He’s closer than they think.

In this Vision Sunday message, Senior Pastor Chris Brooks shares the vision for Woodside’s future. God is positioning our church to help more people see Jesus, make disciples, and impact our communities in the years ahead. Join us as we step into what God has next for our church family.

Where do we turn when life feels uncertain and we need security? In 1 Samuel 22, David finds himself in a cave, but God meets him there. In Part 2 of God Has a Plan, discover how God delivers, provides, and guides us when we feel uncertain, reminding us that our deepest need for security is ultimately met in Him.

What is different about how God chooses a savior, and how we choose? In this first message of the God Has a Plan series, we study the way God discloses his choice to be the new king of Israel, and what that means for us as we look for our own escape from the wilderness.

Could you spend eternity with enough things to praise God about? In this message, pastor Jeremy Writebol opens up Psalm 146 and shows us how the Biblical worship leader calls and supplies reasons for us to be able to praise God forever.
