Woodside Bible Church White Lake

We all know that words have power! God gave us a book, the Bible, that is filled with words for His people. Yet, we also know that God speaks to us in many ways. Yet no way is more significant than through the incarnation of Jesus, as He brought the Word to life. Join Pastor Rob Bentz for our latest message, The Incarnation of the Word.

We begin our Christmas sermon series, Emmanuel: God with Us, by looking at the person and the work of of Jesus--the Word who became flesh. We turn to John's gospel account to see how it is that man can see the glory of God? We can see the glory of God by beholding who Jesus is and by beholding all that He accomplished. Join Pastor Rob Bentz as he kicks off our series with the sermon, The Incarnation of Glory.

Today, we conclude our series, Conflict[ed]: Pursuing Peace in a Cancel Culture, as we look at forgiveness and how vital it is in the body of Christ. Throughout Scripture, Jesus gives us several examples of forgiving those who hurt us. We should forgive because we have been forgiven much and because it is the way of the kingdom. Listen as Pastor Kevin Pobursky shares our latest message, The Absurdity of the Unforgiving Christian, where we will see the importance of forgiving those who hurt us.

Part four of our sermon series, Conflict[ed]: Pursuing Peace in a Cancel Culture, invites us to learn of the importance of handling bouts of conflict in a God-honoring manner. God calls His people one that honors and pursues peace within the body of Christ. He has given us a way to go about reconciling these issues in Matthew 18:15-20. Pastor Rob Bentz shares the latest message of the series, Making Up Instead of Breaking Up.

We continue our series, Conflicted, looking at the body of Christ and how we impact the lives of others. We should have a motive of not hindering others, but rather being a help to our brothers and sisters in faith. We should also look to be vigilant against our own sin, repenting of it and believing the gospel afresh. Listen as Pastor Rob Bentz shares our latest message, Hindrance or Helpful.

Today, we begin a new sermon series, Conflict[ed]: Pursuing Peace in a Cancel Culture, tackling the controversial topic of conflict. We will look at Matthew's gospel account as Jesus talks about the community of Christ and how to handle conflict in a Christ-like manner. Join Pastor Rob Bentz as he shares the first message in our series, Embracing Inability, on this culturally significant issue.

As we conclude our series, Thy Kingdom Come, we'll examine how Jesus reigns over disease and death. Many times, in the New Testament Jesus is seen healing people. Thus, displaying His acts of healing. That same power is alive and active today! Join Pastor Rob Bentz as he teaches from two powerful stories in Mark 5:21-43 in the sermon, Healing for the Hurting.

Today, we reflect upon one of the more vivid and bizarre stories in Mark's Gospel. It's a story that reminds us that Jesus' reign includes the demonic realm. We see this as He takes an unclean man and restores him to new life. And Jesus is still moving and transforming lives today! Listen as Pastor Rob Bentz shares our latest message, The Expert in Exorcism, as we hear how Jesus removes our uncleanness, restores our humanity, and commissions us for ministry.

There are times in our lives when we face all-consuming anxiety, when doubts and what-ifs fill our head. In these times, we can lose sight of God and forget that He is near. He remains calm and at peace in these times, He speaks with authority, and He calls us to step out and live in fearless faith. Allow Him to draw you out of these pits and let His comfort fill you with hope. Listen as Pastor Kevin Pobursky shares our latest message, The Ruler of the Wind and Waves.

We are continuing in our series, Thy Kingdom Come, we see that Jesus’ reign advances through his shared word. In Mark 4, through the parable of the mustard seed, Jesus helps his followers learn how important is is for us to recognize the word's place and impact in our daily life. Listen as Pastor Rob Bentz shares our latest message, The Advance of Jesus’ Reign.
